Initiative
To have initiative is to strive. To strive is the need to do better. We all have that need deep down but the people with full fledged initiative are the people that really get things done. When you have initiative you don't just stand around waiting for some one to take the lead, you take control and get people moving. If more people had initiative the world would be a better place.
character
The definition of someone's character is often defined in different ways they do things in there common lives. whether its holding the door open for the person in front of you or forgetting to say sorry to someone you bump into at the grocery store. These and many more are all little tells of your inner character. If someone has good character they tend to be a good person and a good person has the opportunity to be a good leader.
humility
Humility defined is a way of being humble. Being humble and having humility is a big part of being a leader because if the first thing a leader does is talk about them selves, past achievements and the fact that there in charge, the people they were in charge of most likely would not like to help out again. Its so important to show gratitude to the people under you, to make them feel appreciated.Even if that moment your not leading, being humble just makes you a better person.

Attitude
To have bad attitude as a leader is never a good thing. A leader should be inspiring the people around them to do better things but if you have a bad attitude you can only bring others down and put them in bad moods. A group of people with bad attitudes are not known for being productive. Patience goes hand in hand with attitude, to have one you need the other. If you're dealing with annoying people and you don't have patience then the likely turn out will not be a good one. When having a good attitude people are more draw to you and more open and willing to do the things you need them to do.

gratitude
Gratitude is a very important part of being a leader. Nobody wants to follow and listen to someone with out being properly appreciated and thanked. If you never thank people for there hard work, Eventually there going to stop working. if your not showing gratitude towards someone its as if you're not paying them the respect they deserve. sometimes just going the extra mile will make someone more willing to help you net time you need them. If you're rude and unthankful they will be more hesitant, Whitch in the long run will make your life harder So to make your life and others easier, Just say thank you.

what it means to be a leader?
To be a good leader takes a lot of important qualitys.Respecting people even if you have a higher status,being able to handle the responsibility of leading people and being in charge.Patience and a level head is also an important thing to have when leading.You wont always get the best people for the job but its a leaders job to make the best of it.To teach and to help where it is needed.Without any of these qualitys you wont get very far and no one will want to listen to you or have you as there leader again.As a leader you must relise you are in charge and that's some thing you have to take seriously.Be a humble leader,yes you were chosen for a reason so don't make the person that chose you regret it.
